This lecture is about hybrid cultures that appear in parallel to the Hohokam systems (lecture 2), Chacoan World (lecture 3 )and the Colorado Plateau (lectures 4-5).
It also examines some of the key 13th – 15th century sites and systems that appear in the aftermath of the 13th century evacuation of the Colorado Plateau.
Most of these sites are excluded from the history of this place in architecture. However, understanding them is crucial to understanding the legacy of native peoples of this region. Many of these sites are not only empty, they are forgotten and excluded from the architectural history of this region.
This lecture is dedicated to restoring their existence.
